About Us

We, Steve and LeeAnne Robb, started smoking BBQ for our guests at our annual backyard Robb-B-Q for years.  We often heard "y'all need to start selling this stuff" and as they say.... the rest is history.  LeeAnne took their advice and started selling whole smoked pork butts with her special dry rub recipe through the social media app Nextdoor.  People started requesting more along with sides and desserts, so she obliged since (southern) cooking is her passion.  As demand grew, she started promoting our products through our Facebook business page (https://www.facebook.com/fatcapbarbeque). Our business skyrocketed and so did our customer base. We went from weekend catering and pre-ordered family package meals being picked up in a school parking lot to quitting both of our full-time jobs and opening a small restaurant in Dacula. We are extremely excited to bring you quality craft BBQ and homemade southern sides/desserts at a great price!  When you walk through our door, we want you to feel like you're walking into our home.  We just wish we had more room for a lot more people to sit and stay awhile.  

Our philosophy is to keep things small so we can maintain the highest quality product with the lowest prices you'll find anywhere.
